September 2026 Nonwoven Raw Material Market Update
The nonwoven raw material market saw mild volatility through September, with polypropylene (PP), the base material for spunbond nonwoven, showing a generally stable trend with small upward pressure. Crude oil price swings created short-term fluctuations, while downstream buyers started seasonal restocking for healthcare and hygiene orders, pushing mainstream spunbond nonwoven prices slightly higher compared with August.
Meltblown nonwoven for face mask filtration layers stayed steady in supply this month, with no major shortage. Price gaps remain between standard-grade and high-spec medical meltblown materials. For PE and CPE film raw materials used in shoe covers and sleeve covers, pricing kept flat overall, helping us maintain stable production cost for our plastic protective items.
As a professional nonwoven disposable products manufacturer, Hubei Gongbing Medical Equipment keeps stable long-term supply chains for PP nonwoven and PE raw materials. We operate our cleanroom production line to make disposable nonwoven face masks, bouffant strip caps, nonwoven shoe covers, isolation gowns, PE / CPE shoe covers and PE sleeve covers.
Even with raw material market shifts, we are able to offer consistent product quality and competitive pricing for bulk orders. Our in-house production capacity helps us avoid sudden price jumps and keep reliable lead times for global clients.
We are attending MEDICA 2026 at booth 71A10-7. If you have demand for disposable protective nonwoven products, welcome to meet us at the exhibition, or arrange a factory visit to discuss your order and custom requirements.
